It does. I've had a lot of fun watching corny/flashy movies before.

Inception was great, but I had to use all my brain power to watch it (not that it was necessary, but I felt I couldn't risk missing something key to understanding the movie).

That was fine, but sometimes you just want to watch a movie to relax and let your brain go numb. You can't really do that with a mind fuck like Inception.
